The Whole Body Wellness Centre is at the forefront of clinical assessment and utilizes the TOG Gait Scan diagnostic tool which is specifically engineered to assess the biomechanics of the feet by detecting unusual foot function.

It's important to understand that your feet have direct impact on the rest of your body and support you with each step.
A small abnormality in foot function can have a large impact on joints higher up in the body, causing excessive degeneration and eventually pain and discomfort.
This information is crucial to understanding a patient’s global state and the only way to ensure that nothing is overlooked when attempting to restore their health and well-being.
Custom orthotics (tailor designed medical insoles for your shoes) may be prescribed to correct these imbalances in order to restore equilibrium in the kinematic chain. These devices aid to improve the performance and function of the foot whilst you are standing and walking.
Do I need Foot Orthotics?
If you suffer from any of these complaints or have noticed any of the following, you would most likely benefit from prescription foot orthotics.
- Localized foot pain
- Arch, heel pain
- Leg, knee pain
